NOW HIRING: BOOKING AGENT

We are seeking an ambitious, driven, and motivated booking agent to expand our high-profile boutique roster.

About Us

THE N!GHT has been a dominant force in the Danish club scene since its founding in 2011, quickly establishing itself as the market leader. Until COVID-19, the company delivered 1,200-1,400 shows annually. Post-pandemic, we recalibrated our focus to international markets. With a growing roster and increasing demand overseas, we are now looking for a skilled booking agent to help fulfill our ambition of providing global bookings.

Home to major talent such as superstar DJs Martin Jensen and HEDEGAARD, our artists have transcended Scandinavia, touring extensively worldwide—from the US to China.

About the Role

As a booking agent, your primary responsibility will be securing live performance opportunities for artists. This includes managing tour schedules, negotiating contracts, and coordinating logistical elements to ensure seamless execution. Acting as a key liaison between artists, venues, promoters, and industry professionals, you will maximize performance opportunities while delivering mutually beneficial agreements.

Additionally, you will play a key role in developing the business by building a new team of booking agents, ensuring a positive work environment, and helping us create a world-class workplace. Your leadership and vision will contribute to setting new standards for our operations and team culture.

Key Responsibilities

– Secure live performance opportunities for roster artists, including tours and one-off events.
– Negotiate contracts, fees, and performance terms.
– Coordinate all logistical elements, including travel, accommodations, and schedules.
– Maintain and expand relationships with industry professionals (venues, promoters, festivals, and more).
– Act as a point of contact for artists and ensure clear communication between all parties.
– Contribute to building a strong, motivated booking team and fostering a collaborative work environment.

Requirements

– Proven experience in booking or talent management within the music industry.
– Strong understanding of the music industry, including trends, venues, and festivals.
– Familiarity with artist contracts, rider agreements, and negotiation processes.
– Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
– Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple bookings simultaneously.
– Well-established industry network and a passion for live performance.
– Ability to adapt to a fast-paced, dynamic environment and resolve conflicts quickly.
– Proficiency with booking software, CRM systems, and spreadsheets; familiarity with social media tools is a bonus.
– Financial understanding, including budgeting, revenue splits, and payment processes.

What We Offer

– Competitive salary based on experience.
– Job security with a financially stable, well-established company that can navigate future challenges in the music industry.
– The chance to work with a passionate, collaborative team where ideas are valued.
– Invitations to exclusive concerts, festivals, and industry events, providing first-hand exposure to emerging trends.
– Flexible working hours and remote work options for a balanced work/life dynamic.
– Opportunities to travel and represent the company at key events or shows—checking off bucket-list destinations while working.
– A chance to expand your booking network with world-class talent on an international stage.
– Potential to grow into the role of Head of Booking and become a future co-owner and partner in the company.
– The opportunity to help shape a team and culture that sets a new standard in the booking industry
